Assessing Toothbrush Features and Conclusions:
Standard Manual Toothbrushes: Everyone has used the standard manual toothbrush. I does the job, but sometimes we get in a hurry. If used properly they have been shown to do a great job. The new brushes have ergonomically designed handles with textured bristles and tongue clean pads. The problem as with most things in life is we have to be smart enough to learn to use your tooth brush properly.
Battery Powered Toothbrushes: Have very few features other than a rotation and vibrating bristle head and easily removed AA or AAA batteries. These models normally come with nothing more than an on/off switch and a much lower price tag than the Power toothbrush models. You should use the brush for at least 2 minutes. Be near a clock to monitor your brushing time. There is no doubt your mouth feels cleaner when using this style of toothbrush.
Power Toothbrushes : Has many features and models. Have various brush modes and style built in, such as pressure sensors, Timers, sonic cleaning, oscillating, and the many different brush head styles. Power toothbrushes take up more space in your bathroom with the required charging base. The programed variations of the brushing modes is something that everyone should at least feel once. After using this model I have never had the clean feeling in my mouth with standard brush as I have with a power toothbrush.
